Defensive Handgun
An Adventure For Heroes exclusive!
As law abiding Texans we have both the right and privilege to carry firearms to protect ourselves and others. With that comes the responsibility to train and practice.
Our mission is to provide responsible gun owners (and potential owners) with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves and their families safely and effectively.
We provide this instruction through four distinct courses. These courses are open to veterans, active service members, first responders and immediate family members (must be 21 years or older and legally allowed to possess a firearm).

One of the most overlooked yet critical pieces of firearm ownership is cleaning and maintenance. AFH has teamed up with Thomas Sanchez, a Marine Corps veteran and gunsmith (Gun FXR) to provide shooters with this invaluable training and education.
During this evening course you will learn:
How your firearm operates mechanically (to understand what needs maintenance and to troubleshoot problems)
What tools and supplies are necessary for firearm maintenance
How to effectively maintain a firearm to ensure its functionality and safety
How to select and use the appropriate solvents and oils for your firearms
You should bring the firearm of your choice, magazines, and any accessories you have for your firearm. No ammunition is allowed in the classroom.
We will provide all necessary cleaning and maintenance supplies and tools for the class.
A $100 value - minimum $25 donation.
