Heroes Resource Center and
Other Community Services
Onsite Services
At Heroes Resource Center, we offer a strong support system for veterans and their families. Our onsite resources include peer support and a welcoming community to share experiences and encouragement. Through partnerships with other organizations, we also provide services like free legal help, counseling, VA benefits and claims support (DAV), financial aid for rent and utilities (TVC), and help with health insurance.
Other Community Services
Looking for support beyond what Heroes Resource Center provides? We know every individual and family has unique needs, so we’ve built a broad network of trusted local resources and partner organizations. These community services offer help in many areas, including food and housing support, education, job training, mental health services, and more. Whether you’re facing a temporary challenge or need long-term support, we’re here to connect you with the right resources.

Our Programs
Women Heroes Program
At HNO we have recognized a need in the community to better support our women heroes. We have initiated a program specifically designed to better target the specific needs of our Women Heroes. The goal is to find out what our Active Duty, Veteran, Law Enforcement and 1st Responder women heroes need so we can build a program that hosts events and resources that fit those needs.
Volunteer
There are many different ways a person or group could help the community through Heroes Night Out. We are always look for people to help with the events that we host. We also look into getting assistance with tasks around the office/building, as well as special skills that could better assist the Veteran Community.
Financial Assistance
This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families. For more information, visit www.tvc.texas.gov.
